Just watched The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.  It was amazing. Rant (with spoilers): There’s too many people complaining about it, and it’s total bullshit. They complain anything from the music, the sex scenes (the lesbian one in particular), the remake itself. But you know what, seeing this movie makes me want to watch the original and the books. Like, I’d be ecstatic if they made a remake of the Harry Potter movies, simply because I get to see more. It doesn’t matter if its better or not as good, unless it’s complete trash, which is certainly not the point here. Director David Fincher did an amazing job remaking it. And the lesbian thing, someone explained that Lisbeth is actually bisexual, so it wasn’t unnecessary (I didn’t think it was even when i didn’t know she was canon bisexual). It’s an integral part of the character that needed to be shown to show every side to her. The many sex scenes might’ve been to much but it’s hollywood so duh. I’m just whatever about it, as everyone should be by now. How many hollywood movies do you have to watch before you understand there’ll be a LOT of romance/sex? BUT IF YOU’RE UNDER 17 AND YOU SNEAK IN TO WATCH IT, DON’T FUCKING COMPLAIN ABOUT IT AFTERWARDS. YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO FUCKING WATCH IT. AND IT’S RATED R BECAUSE CHILDREN LIKE YOU CAN’T UNDERSTAND THE INGENUITY. And if you liked it, you’re pretty cool.
